Imitate God, therefore in everything you do, because you are his dear children. Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. Ephesians 5:1-2

I have been motivated and convicted.  Caylan I am truly proud of where you are in your life and you have encouraged me to figure out who I am really supposed to be. I have been stuck in this bubble of "safety" for what feels like years now.  I have put up a wall and have refused to allow myself to be vulnerable to God and also to my husband.  I try get out of this funk but I always find myself right back here.  Now that I have become a mother I want more for her. I want to love God the way that I used to, because that is what he deserves.  I want to show my daughter all the things that I had to learn on my own.

I can remember a time when I was so intimately in love with the Lord, it was amazing and I am going to get back to that, because I know that God misses me.  I was thinking the other day If God really loves my daughter more than I do, than that must mean that he loves me that much too... that was a reality check.

I have committed to reading the bible everyday even if it's just a verse, i need to be in his word to be intimate with him.  I have also committed to only watching So you think you can dance and that is it.... Yes I know any of you who know me know that T.V. Is a big part of my life and this will be very hard for me but i feel God calling me away from it.  I think it will do wonders for my life!

So i could definitely use some prayer.  I am going to be making some dramatic changes in my life in order to be a better wife, mother and friend. Well I love you all thank you for being involved in my life:)

So, I'm catching up on your blog.

Those are awesome thoughts on your walk with christ. I have learned in this past year, that God wants to take me to a NEW place in my walk with him, not the place I used to be. I am not who I used to be...I'm a mom, and that changes everything. So, like you...the journey is always new!

I started to search your blog, because I wanted to see pics of Emree's room...I heard it was awesome, and it is! I L-O-V-E dandelions. I am daydreaming of the day when we'll get to bring our daughter home from who-knows-where and I want to do something with dandelions. Love what you guys did!
